What is your favorite subject in school? My favorite subject history
What would you like to have as your career later on in life? To work in a Nascar shop doing motor and fab. work or to became a auto service tech.
Do you plan to go to college? I plan on going to a UTI.
Does anyone else in your family race? Yes, I have two uncles that race. Mike Gantt #1 he runs Stock 8 at Travelers Rest Speedway. James Gantt #72 he took sometime off to help get me started and still funds my racing. He should have a car to run Renegade with by the end of the year. I look up to my uncle the most. I have always helped them since I was 2 or 3 and they have always gave me advice and help at home in school and on the track.
Who is your favorite local driver? I have 2 favorite drivers that run locally Scott Galloway #27 And Bill “Spiderman” Morgan #m1. I look up to these to drivers both on and off the track.
Who is your favorite national driver? My favorite national driver would be Steve Kinser #11
Which local track do you consider your home track? Travelers Rest Speedway would be my home track i have ran there more than anywhere’s else.
What do you do besides race for fun? I ride ATV’s and Go Carts but I wouldn’t call it having fun, because to me Having fun has meant racing and watching races at dirt tracks. I go fishing and hunting and hang out with friends but it’s usually after I get finished working on the race cars.
What is your favorite track in the whole US? All Tracks
Do you plan on continuing to race and if so what division would you like to eventually be in? Yes, I plan on racing for as long as possible. I hope to be 60 yrs old and still be able to get around a dirt track.
Do you work on your car, have a crew or both? No we don’t have a crew its just Mike, James (my uncles) and me. I do most of the work especially if I wreck it. I love just begin around the race cars and going to a track.
Do you have anyone you would like to thank for their support or help in any way? I would like to think my uncles Mike and James, my Mom and everyone who has helped in someway as well as the fans I have out there. And to God for allowing me to race on a regular basis.
How long after realizing you wanted to race did it take you to get your car on the track? I wanted to race when I was two or three. It took until I was 14 to get a car.
How nervous were you the first time you came onto the dirt track for a race and does it get easier every time? Yes, and no I was nervous because I was excited about getting to drive and no because I already had an idea of how to drive a race car.
