I am the mother of local Young Guns driver #47c Christina Worthy (Bad Monkey). I started this blog to simply write about my daughters adventures in starting and running at local dirt tracks. Soon after getting this site up and going, I realized how little information was out there about other local drivers. No matter how hard you searched Google, little to nothing would come back. My goal is to make local driver names searchable with some information.

The Crasharama will be back at Anderson Motor Speedway this Saturday May 11th 2013.
Last year was our 1st year in attendance. Talk about a show! These guys and gals really keep the fans entertained with fun, crashes, stunts, giveaways and much, much more.

Rain wins out again at local race tracks on both Friday and Saturday of the 1st weekend in May. Record levels of rain fall is never what you want, especially on race day.

Rain shut down most tracks for the weekend. However, Lavonia was able to get the show in with no time to spare as rain began falling on the last lap of the last race.
Since the reopening of the Speedway after several years of sitting dormant, fans have rushed to get a seat each Friday night for the Georgia dirt racing action.
This past weekend was my 1st trip ever to the Speedway. The show ran a little late and was a bit dusty, but we had a blast. I suspect that given a few more weeks, these folks will have the kinks worked out. The entire property was in good condition, and the bathrooms were clean, with doors for privacy to do your business. For a Friday night track, the car count was wonderful to see. Only FWD and Rookie 4 classes had less than 10 cars it seemed. (Not sure on exact count.) We will definitely be making a few trips back in the near future.

I was actually able to record a few races this past weekend for the 1st time at TR. Thanks to Owen who helped me put up a chair on the balcony so I could sit down often. I did not get all mains nor all laps, but I tried to get as much as I could. So here ya go. I so loved being able to do what I love again.
