It is about that time of year! Yes, the start of the 2012 racing season for local dirt track’s in the Upstate SC, NC and Georgia area’s.(I will add events as they become available as well as more information, so stay tuned as this year’s kick off begins to ramp the season into overdrive.) FEBRUARY 25th – Harris Speedway will host their 1st open practice from 1 to 5pm. $10 for the pits and free grand stands.
FEBRUARY 25th – Cherokee Speedway will host their 1st practice from 1 to 5 pm.
February 25th - Carolina Speedway Open House Practice 1pm – 5pm. Stands free and $10 Pits. Gates open at 11am.
MARCH 3rd & 4th – Cherokee Speedway has scheduled the annual March Madness event. Super Late Model (15,000 to win), Crate Late Model, Limited Sportsman, Crate Sportsman, Pure Stock, Stock 4, Young Guns, Extreme 4 and Renegade will all be in action. Date Change FEBRUARY 25th March 3rd - Travelers Rest Speedway will host the first practice of the season from 1pm till Dark.
March 3rd - Harris Speedway has scheduled an open practice 1pm – 5pm.
FEBRUARY 17th, 18th & 19th DATE CHANGE March 9th – 11th – WINTERNATIONALS at Toccoa Speedway in Toccoa GA. OWM, FASTRAK LM and other support classes will be in action to kick 2012 off in Georgia. (More details @ http://scracefansblog.com/forum/index.php/topic,5740.0.html)

March 10th – Harris Speedway Day race with all divisions. Richard Johnson Memorial $1000 to win in Stock 4 & SS4. Gates open at 11am with drivers meeting at 2pm.
March 10th – Hartwell Speedway Open Practice 2pm – 5pm Free grandstands and $10 Pits
March 10th – TR Speedway Open Practice 1pm til ? Free grandstands $10 pits
March 16th – Carolina Speedway Hoot-N-Holler for $500 (4 Bangers, Renegade, OWM, Thunder Sportsman, Street Stock) (More details to come)
