The loss of a father and grandfather

Just a little less than an hour ago, we found out that Mr. Eric Burgess lost his father today. Over the last year or so, complications, illnesses and such have kept US Veteran Burgess in and out of the Veterans Hospital until a few months ago when they sent him home with a hospice aid.

Eric and Tonya Burgess take their personal time most weeks to video races from TR Speedway and sometimes Westminster Speedway and upload them to You-tube for us all to see. Their son Dereck Burgess is the driver of the white #99 car in the Young Guns division at TR.

The loss of a Father and Grandfather is tough under any circumstances and our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to the Burgess family now in their time of need.
