Videos from TR Speedway August 29th

Pure Stock was actually able to have a some what clean race this week unlike a few weeks before. Timmy Smith threw his helmet n the ring with these newbies once again and brought home a win.

Blake Bentley lead and won through door to door action up front. Limited cautions made this a race one to watch. This was the first win for Blake.

Michael Barbare won this caution free limited race.

They battle door to dooor from the back to the front of the field, yet Timmy Smiths holds his spot to take home the win in Stock 8.

Brayden Pruitt made her second trip to TR this week and between the heat and the main, some driver decided she was too intimidating at 15 years old and took her out not once but twice put her in the wall. Eric Headen took the win after a protest found Kevin Kelly wrong.

Through multiple car cautions, Dwight Smith is able to pull through and take the checkered flag for the win in the Renegade division.

Only one word for the Young Guns race “Wild”. You had to have been there to see the wild starts, the beating door to door that went on and yes even a veteran driver put little Christina Worthy (only her third race ever) in the wall on the front stretch during a caution because he wanted that starting spot. Tempers flared in the stands, pits and on the track, but Morgan Gentry some how held off the mayhem and took home the win.

On a personal note:
After the racing was over and tempers calmed down, the track officials did a wonderful job speaking to myself and my husband over the fiasco in Young Guns. Rather than showing the bad side of our selves, we choose to discuss things in a calm and yet firm manner, which the track officials took very well and listened and understood our concern. Even a day later the Bad Monkey and the other driver discussed things and worked it out on their own. They are back to supporting each other on and off the track. Diplomacy can work in a world of often occurring mayhem.
Thumbs up to the TR Officials and the two Young Gun drivers for working it out!

we made it the week before but hate we didnt get to make this one. it looks like christina is doing much better from the video. she is still stying in the back but getting closer to where she needs to be. give her a few more races and she may just surprise us all.

Why have you not posted the two videos of the races from Sept 7th and the 12th? Also be nice to see the whole race including the wrecks to see some of the action instead of just the leaders.

M, we were unable to make the race Sept 7th and neither were any of the other people who post videos. As for the 12th, I will have those posted within the next few days. We are just now getting to update things for this weekend, because one of our sponsors lost a very close family member and we have been at his side as much as possible along with many other drivers, family and friends from TR Speedway.
