What do the local drivers do to unwind? You would think that most don’t have time to do much else but they do manage to add even more fun in through the week when the local dirt tracks are not open. Yep, you guessed it, they go to Frankies Fun Park every now and then to just hang back and have a good time with no fear of who wins or who losses.
On just another normal Thursday in April, track promoters, drivers, fans, crews and other track personnel show up at Frankies Fun Park on Woodruff Road in Greenville South Carolina to let off some steam from the rigorous hours they all keep. The minute they all walked in, heads were spinning in rememberance of past visits. The task of the evening would be to not get thrown out for rough driving or tearing up go karts. (Well, one kart out of commission is not so bad.)
Jody Palmer, Ceej, Mike Johnson, Joey Kelly, Matt Gilbert, Iceman, Zeke Whitman and many more showed up to bust a move in a kart while being watched over by the management with a close eye. Though no one was thrown out, a few were asked to take it easy and several went home black and blue, sore, couldn’t walk the next day and completely wiped out. I guess that is what happens when you go three wide at Frankies on a kart while being slammed from every possible angle imaginable.
Stay tuned for the next trip notice because payback is said to be coming for round two.

Man, I hate that we missed this one. Next time give us a few days head notice. It would be fun to beat and bang with the best of them.
