The GM Performance Late Model race was nothing but fantastic! Wally Fowler was able to hold off Kid Quick and Blackwell to win at Travelers Rest Speedway Saturday night. The fight to hold each spot was one to watch and even going 3 wide just past restarts, made for some interesting out comes.

Leading the main event off was Wally Fowler and Travis Leake sitting in front row with Travis Blackwell and Zack Mitchell in row two. With the green flag still waving on the start, Jordon Dill hard into the wall just before turn one. Upon restart, Wally takes the lead and then another caution for Riddle and Hill with some contact. Restart once again gives Mitchell just the thing he needs to take the third spot from Leek and then the second spot from Blackwell. The last few laps are a hard run for Wally with Zack almost taking the lead a time or two but he is able to hold on to come in under the checkered flag for a win.
