What a perfect night of local racing here in SC. The track was almost as perfect as it can be and the cars had more room to slid in on you when you are not looking. There were only a few serious accidents.
The Pure Stock heat made for a crazy ride in the #57 and #12. Both cars were flipping and rolling over each other like nothing I have ever seen before. It is said that both cars may never see the race track again because they were totalled.
Young Guns main event made for heart stopping action yet again. The little Puppy Power #83 went hard into the wall right before the flag stand and there for a second look like he might just go over but stopped and was fine except his car. The #2x of Chris Goodman had more bad luck this week with a hard hit into the wall at turn 2 head on. He appeared to be fine but I heard today that he was taken to the doctor Monday and has a bad case of whiplash. He will be in a neck brace for a few weeks.
The rest of the classes had great racing with a few bump ups, spin outs and even an upset in GM Performance with the #999 being put in the back of the pack after some contact up front. Keep up the car counts and this racing season will be a blast. There is nothing like South Carolina dirt track racing!
