The small number of cars made for a great practice session at TR Speedway yesterday. With that said, the drivers who did show up looked to be getting back in the game this year with a vengeance. With a few minor bump ups and some wall touching going on, the drivers for the most part are getting a handle on their cars for the start of what looks to be a terrific year at TR Speedway and other surrounding areas.
Nathan Nash and many others had some trouble in between turns 3 and 4 on the high side where the wall came close or in some cases reached out and touched a few reminding them that it was still there. It appeared to be a bit loss on the high side and any who ventured that way had some close calls. Seth Coggins, Zeke Whitman, Rodney, Stroker (I am unsure of who was driving this one) and R. Shirley just to name a few, stayed on their game and showed us all that the 2009 season may just be their best one yet. Chris Goodman had a time handling his car until the end of the day when he seemed to regain his control.
It was a beautiful day for the practice and one can only hope that the make up race, which is scheduled to be next weekend, will be just as gorgeous. More details coming on the make up race soon.

The less cars the better for the driver. They are able to run clean without any bump ups. Sometimes anyway.
OhMyGee. Seth was awesome. I want my driving lessons from him. Rodney still needs a little work but he’ll be okay. Zeke is still good, as always. Russle was pretty good. And Chris, What to say about him, I dont know. He would have been great if his car wouldn’t have messed up. Well hope my car’s ready soon. Love you mama*
