After multiple weeks of rainouts and most local tracks, this Memorial Day weekend is shaping up to be action packed from Friday till Monday. We will be at Toccoa Speedway Sunday. The Upstate Carolina’s has lost another track for the time being. Travelers Rest Speedway has closed it’s doors once again. Will any promoter ever be able to keep it up and running for more than a few years? Hopefully someone will in the near future. The Crasharama will be back at Anderson Motor Speedway this Saturday May 11th 2013. Last year was our 1st year in attendance. Talk about a show! These guys and gals really keep the fans entertained with fun, crashes, stunts, giveaways and much, much more. Here is the playlist of video we took last year 2012.

Rain wins out again at local race tracks on both Friday and Saturday of the 1st weekend in May. Record levels of rain fall is never what you want, especially on race day. We will give it a try again next weekend starting with Travelers Rest Speedway Friday night and then away from dirt to the Crasharama Saturday night at Anderson Motor Speedway. We will be working on some custom pictures & tshirt designs that will be on sale at TR Speedway starting this Friday night. We will be making some much needed changes and upgrades here at DTGW Productions. Please excuse the mess as we revamp the website and make it more user friendly for the future.

Rain shut down most tracks for the weekend. However, Lavonia was able to get the show in with no time to spare as rain began falling on the last lap of the last race. Since the reopening of the Speedway after several years of sitting dormant, fans have rushed to get a seat each Friday night for the Georgia dirt racing action.
